also, today jacob came over and said "brooke your kitchen sink smells like a baby was forced to eat its shit-filled diaper and vomited it up."
now i am going to do the dishes. do you know how much i hate doing dishes? like, a million. especially when they magically pile up over the course of two days. eeeew!

my sweet precious rice cooker came in the mail on monday, i am in love with that thing.
so next quarter is probably going to look like
10 - 10:50: french 205
11 - 11:50: math 84
12 - 12:50: english 102
not the most fun ever, i'm trying to get dumb requirements out of the way and then stick with french as long as i can--i think it goes up to 206 and then i can do credit by exam or independent study. i'm pretty psyched to be almost done with fall quarter, french is fine and english is pretty dull, but cultural anthropology is killing me slowly. my professor is definitely interesting but his teaching style is pretty weird and he does his own thing. apparently he's pretty lenient on final grades, though. which reminds me that i should start on my 8 - 10 page take-home exam.
"Define the Matrix of Domination and the Categorization Process (The Creation of the Other). In this context define and discuss Biological Sex, Biological Sex Drive, Social Sex (Gender), Social Sexual Behavior (Sexuality), Manness & Patriarchy (Male Dominance), Hetroness & Taboo Sexuality, and The continuum of Ethnocentrism-to-Genocide, including Individual & Institutional Sexism and Hetrosexism. Give ample specific examples (evidence) from the readings, viewings and lectures."
i'm glad that i have a ton of notes and paid enough attention in class so i have a pretty decent grasp on the concepts. i'm ready to be done with it, though.
